Behind the Scenes Tour with Farmer Michelle

Bring your favorite person (or people!) to the farm for this one-of-a-kind learning experience at Roots. 

Join Michelle Elston, owner and farmer, to walk the fields, talk about what makes a good cut flower, observe good cut flower varieties, discuss growing methods for flowers, and learn how to make your flowers last. This informational tour is perfect for curious souls who want to learn more about our operation. 

Each attendee will receive a Roots starter pack of 12 assorted cut flower plants for their own home cutting garden! Be sure to stay after the tour to shop the barn at our Mother's Day Pop-Up Shop. $65/person or $50/person for 2 or more.

Space is limited for this event. Children 12 and up only, please. The tour will be held rain or shine, and involves walking through the fields of our working farm. The ground is uneven and involves some inclines. Dressing for the weather and terrain is a must. 

*Note that the Behind the Scenes tour is geared toward home gardeners NOT professional growers. Flower farmers interested in learning more about our farm/growing to sell should attend one of our Growers Tours held later in the season.
