We’re hiring!  Join our team for the 2020 season!

Our energetic, fast paced, production-oriented cut flower farm is hiring. Our small crew grows every stem we sell, produces over 20,000 bouquets each season, designs for events and holds seasonal, on-farm Pop-Up Shops. We are efficiency focused, sustainability focused, plant focused, profit focused and people focused!

We are seeking 3-4 people to join our crew for the 2020 growing season.

 

All positions are part-time, seasonal, from mid-April through early October. Applicants must be available for a minimum of two consistent days a week beginning mid-April through June. Then, applicant must be available EVERY Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from July-early October, with the potential for more hours, depending on applicant's skill set. 

Tasks will include: transplanting, weeding, daily harvest, processing (stripping stems and grading) and cleaning/maintenance of our beautiful farm. Additional tasks may include: bouquet making, seeding, delivery driving and limited design work, all dependent on qualifications.

Applicants MUST possess the following:

  • Availability every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday July through early October, 8-4:30.

  • Physical and mental stamina to work in all weather conditions.

  • Ability to maintain a fast, efficient pace while maintaining the highest quality, especially during redundant tasks. Hustle!

  • Consistent attention to detail.

  • Team player, commitment to task completion.

  • Minimum 1 year experience farming or other relevant production work.

  • Reliable transportation to and from work, with some flexibility on day-end timing.

  • Most importantly, be kind.

Additional qualities are preferred:

  • Flower or produce harvest experience.

  • Understanding of how plants grow.

  • Attentive to detail. Able to keep a list in one’s head and take multi-step direction.

  • Ability to see the big picture and order tasks appropriately.

  • Comfortable working both alone and in groups.
